Guess Who’s Back?

I may have stopped recording, but I never stopped writing.

Hello, fellow Faulkers!

It’s been a hot second since you’ve heard anything from Willie Two Pair; with good reason.

2 years since Collegiate (2013), 3 years since LoudActionsLouderWords (2012), and coming up on a whopping 7 years since The Final Chapter (2009).  So what HAS Willie Faulk been up to since his disappearance back in 2013?

Shortly after the latest album died out and the shows slowed down, Mr. Faulkner decided to switch gears and focus on earning his degree from Mississippi State University. “I felt like that was something I needed to accomplish not only for myself, but also for my son. I can’t be hypocritical when telling my own flesh and blood that it is imperative that he finish college. It’s a huge milestone and I’m very proud of my accomplishment. I owe it all to that little man of mine.” Willie Stated.

Mr. Faulkner graduated in May of 2015 with a Bachelor in Business and a Minor in Marketing.

So now that he’s crossed the education finish line (or checkpoint), what’s next for the Mississippi native?

“I may have stopped recording, but I never stopped writing.” He tells us, grabbing our interest. “I’ve spent this time off really digging deep into who I want to be as an artist, how I want to be portrayed in Hip Hop; and further more,  how I want my son to look at his father.”

That’s all we were able to get out of him personally, but a bit more through social media! According to Twitter, he will be releasing new music on New Year’s Day 2016! Let’s hope he brings the same passion and progression that he’s given us for so many years.

We hope to see you soon, Mr. Faulk!
